There was a time I thought burnout was just part of life. I was overgiving, overworking and overwhelmed .
I was emotionally disconnected, stuck in survival mode, and completely exhausted… and I had no idea how much I was holding inside. At work, I showed up with a smile. But at home, I was numb. I was tired and snapping at the people I loved. Getting migraines, digestive issues, having trouble focusing, and worst of all…I thought it was normal.
I didn’t realize that my nervous system was dysregulated.
That the constant overdoing, people-pleasing, and perfectionism I thought were “just my personality” were actually coping strategies I learned from unhealed patterns.

While both support well-being, counseling is often retrospective, led by an expert to explore past pain with a problem to be fixed, whereas coaching is a collaborative, forward-focused process built on the belief that you are already whole and capable and together we use goal setting and action steps to create the change you desire. Many clients choose to do both as they find the difference in focus can compliment each other.

During a coaching session, you can expect open and non-judgmental discussions with your coach. They will listen actively, ask insightful questions, and collaborate with you to create action plans tailored to your unique needs and aspirations.

While the coaching process's duration varies depending on individual goals and needs. Some clients achieve significant progress within a few months, while others may prefer a longer coaching relationship for continuous growth and support. However, remember that healing in itself is not linear and is an ongoing journey.
